Connor Hupman, Noah Maranzana, and Katherine Wheddon powered the Baylor Bears to a resounding victory in their latest swim meet, leaving Tennessee Christian Prep, Boyd Buchanan (TN), Cardinal Gibbons, Signal Mountain (TN), and Chattanooga Christian in their wake.
Hupman and Maranzana made waves in the men's freestyle events. Hupman showcased his endurance with a strong 4th place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle, clocking in at 1:45.66. He followed that up with another impressive 4th place finish in the 100 Yard Freestyle, touching the wall in 48.68.
Maranzana brought the speed, claiming 5th in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a swift 23.04. He also delivered a solid performance in the 100 Yard Freestyle, securing 4th place in 50.80.
Wheddon made a splash in the women's events, dominating the 500 Yard Freestyle with a stellar time of 5:08.55, good enough for a 2nd place finish.
This dominant performance highlights the depth and talent of the Baylor Bears swim team. With Hupman, Maranzana, and Wheddon leading the charge, this squad is making a serious statement this season.
