Islandstats.com can confirm the Women’s Sevens squad selected by the Bermuda Rugby Football Union to compete in the 65th Annual NY Sevens Rugby Tournament.
This historic event, the largest and longest-running single-day 7’s tournament in the United States, as it will host over 130 teams and thousands of athletes from across the globe.
Bermuda's team, aptly named "Dark 'n' Stormy," will be vying for victory in the 16-team Women's Social Division. The squad is comprised of twelve talented athletes: Bella Greene, Somaia Saltus, Jordan Mallory, Lysmeiri Santana Suazo, Camile Chin-Gurret, Kisha Pitcher, Apryl Jackson, Heidi Groves, Sarah Cross, Alexia Hurdle, Joliza Vanderpool, and Sammy Dill.
They will face stiff competition from a diverse range of clubs, including:
