Caleb Ingham and the La Salle University Men's Swimming and Diving team returned to action after a three-week hiatus, hosting a challenging meet against Villanova University. Despite strong individual performances and determined efforts, La Salle narrowly fell to Villanova by a score of 173-127.
Ingham played a key role in La Salle's efforts, showcasing his versatility across multiple events. He anchored the La Salle 'B' team in the 200-Yard Medley Relay, powering them to a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:36.49.
In the 50-Yard Freestyle, Ingham demonstrated his sprinting prowess, touching the wall in fifth place with a time of 21.81. He then tackled the longer 100-Yard Freestyle, securing a seventh-place finish with a time of 49.41.
Ingham's contributions continued in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay, where he swam the third leg for La Salle's 'A' team. Their combined efforts propelled them to a second-place finish, clocking an impressive time of 1:23.93.
Despite the close loss, Ingham and his La Salle teammates demonstrated their competitive spirit and determination throughout the meet. They will now look to build upon their performances as they prepare for their upcoming challenges in the pool.
