The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association (BASA) hosted its Winter Meet at the BASA Pool, showcasing impressive performances from local swimmers across various age groups and events.
In the 13-14 Girls 100 SC Meter Freestyle, Sofia Leclerc emerged victorious with a time of 1:14.32. Sophie Wells secured second place in 1:14.82, followed by Riana Robinson in third clocking 1:24.01.
Braxton Cooze dominated the Men's 15 & Over 100 SC Meter Freestyle, clocking a winning time of 1:02.13. Zachary Johnson finished closely behind in second place with a time of 1:02.63.
Joy Yammine claimed first place in the Women's 15 & Over 50 SC Meter Backstroke with a time of 37.39, while Cristina Abend finished second clocking 38.09.
Rory Shepherd triumphed in the 13-14 Boys 400 SC Meter Freestyle, recording a time of 4:53.33. Gabriel Maranzana secured second place with a time of 5:09.18.
The BASA Winter Meet highlighted the talent and dedication of Bermuda's young swimmers, setting the stage for continued development and competitive success in the future.
