Che'chulae Dowling and her Jackson State Women’s Soccer teammates trailed Mississippi Valley State (MVSU) 1 - 0 at halftime, but rallied to tie the game at 2 - 2 on the road at the MVSU Soccer Field.
Jackson State moved to 2-7-5 overall and 2-1-4 in SWAC play following the draw.
MVSU grabbed a 1-0 lead when Liana Bryant scored in the 30th minute, assisted by Jacquelline Kambere.
Jackson State responded to tie things up on a goal from Amalia Fonua, her first goal of the season, in the 75th minute.
Mississippi Valley State went on top 2 - 1 on Kambere's 84th-minute goal.
However, Jackson State leveled it at 2 - 2 with an 84th-minute goal from Kendyl Terrell, her fifth goal of the season.
The goal capped the scoring in the game.
