UNCW soared to new heights, amassing an impressive 10 wins, including a dominant 7-2 dismantling of Boston College. Their day began with a fierce battle against Davidson, where they narrowly edged out their opponents 3-1 in doubles play.
Mallory, paired with Oscar Baumgartner, faced a formidable challenge from Davidson's Sebastian Carpio and Davide Pricacci, ultimately falling in a hard-fought 6-4 decision. But the stage was set for Mallory to unleash his fury in singles competition.
Facing Boston College's Andrew Ilie, Mallory engaged in a thrilling three-set rollercoaster. After dropping the first set 3-6, Mallory roared back with a vengeance, seizing the second set 6-2.
