At the Police Field, Young Men Social Club and the Dandy Town Hornets prepared to battle it out. Former Social Club player, David Jones, silenced the home supporters with a goal in the 32nd minute.
In the 70th minute Jinairo Johnson, scored the equalizer for Social Club. The momentum had shifted, and just when the Dandy Town Hornets were reeling, Pierre Smith delivered a dagger to their hearts, finding the back of the net with a finish just six minutes later.
Jones, the man who broke Social Club hearts earlier, rose to the occasion once again to end the game deadlocked at 2-2.
St. George’s Colts 2 Paget Lions 2
At the Wellington Oval, the St. George's Colts, stormed out of the gates as Nejai Tucker, opened the scoring in the 15th minute.
But the Paget Lions, with their pride on the line, roared back. Kushae Hypolite, hit the back of the net. The Lions had drawn blood!
Just as the first half seemed destined to end in a stalemate, Jarizinho Bassett, scored to send the St. George’s Colts into the break with their noses in front.
The second half was a tense affair. Both teams traded blows, but it was Delray Rawlins, who delivered the decisive strike.
Wolves 3 Devonshire Colts 3
At the Devonshire Recreation Club, the visiting team Devonshire Colts roared to a 3 - 0 lead, with Keino Burch, Sage Blair Paynter, and Daniel Ball finding the net.
Khiari Sharieff Hayward ignited the comeback, followed by strikes from Khari Sharieff and Lamelle Paynter, to level the match at 3-3.
Devonshire Cougars 0 PHC Zebras 2
The crowd at Devonshire Recreation Club was full of anticipation as the defending champions, the PHC Zebras, were locked in a fierce battle with the Devonshire Cougars.
Hailey Eve, pounced in the 48th minute., and the PHC Zebras were ahead.
The Cougars, wounded but not broken, fought back with renewed vigor. But the PHC Zebras' defense held firm, repelling every attack with unwavering resolve. In the 70th minute, the PHC Zebras were awarded a penalty. De-Andre Wainwright, cool as ice, stepped up to the spot, burying the ball in the back of the net.
The final whistle blew, and the Zebras emerged victorious, their undefeated streak intact.
FIRST DIVISION
Robin Hood 1 St. David’s 1
At the BAA Field, Robin Hood and St. David's played to a 1 - 1 draw.
St. David's struck early with Clay Darrell finding the back of the net in the 18th minute. Robin Hood, battled back and in the 34th minute, Jah’Zion Taylor stepped up and scored from the penalty spot.
St. David's, in a dramatic twist, was reduced to nine men after losing a player in the 79th minute, and another just two minutes later.
Somerset Eagles 3 Southampton Rangers 1
At the White Hill Field the Somerset Eagles came from behind to defeat the Southampton Rangers 3 - 1.
The Southampton Rangers took an early lead in the 26th minute, thanks to Kevon Douglas' finish.
The Somerset Eagles were relentless in their pursuit of an equalizer, and in the 80th minute, K'tori Butterfield found the back of the net. The momentum shifted in an instant, and just two minutes later, Zico Saltus Seymour delivered a stunning strike to put the Somerset Eagles ahead.
With the Rangers reeling and time running out, Saltus Seymour struck again in stoppage time, sealing a dramatic 3-1 victory for the Somerset Eagles.
