Scott Barnes was in action in the Cup Karts North American (CKNA) Grand Nationals 8 in New Castle, Indiana.
Barnes on the day had a good masters race, went 20th to 14th in a 52 kart field… but had a shitty heavy race under the lights after a terrible qualifier.
Barnes said, “I made a change that went backwards, someone spun in front of us and got into my axle and ended that race before it got going.
We’ll concentrate on masters tomorrow and see if we can get two more clean top 14 finishes to set us up for a good starting spot in finals.”
