 Che'chulae Dowling and her Jackson State Women’s Soccer teammates ended its SWAC opener in a 0 - 0 draw against Alabama A&M at JSU Soccer Field.

Rebecca Jamieson led Jackson State with four saves. After a lengthy injury timeout in the first minute of the match, Kendyl Terrell immediately headed for the goal and scored from what would have been an assist from Karime Antonio-Lopez, but Terrell's goal was called off due to contact with the goalie on the run.
