Andrew Armstrong scored twice as he and his University of Dayton Men's Soccer teammates continued Atlantic 10 play at home with George Washington and scored a season-high seven goals in the victory.
In the 24th minute, already up 1 - 0, freshman Armstrong scored his first as a University of Dayton player off a rebounded shot by sophomore Cooper Lijewski.
Two minutes later Armstrong assisted the next goal on a cross to sophomore Martin Bakken.
In the 73rd minute, Armstrong scored his second goal with an assist from Bakken making it 6 - 0.
Armstrong's performance earned him the A-10 Rookie of the Week Honors.
