Koa Goodchild and her Howard University Women's Soccer teammates closed out its non conference slate with a draw at Longwood , 2-2. With the result, Howard University moved to 1-3-4 entering league play while Longwood goes to 1-6-2 on the season. Second-year Bison Samantha James got Howard University on the board first within seven minutes of play, thanks to a corner kick, 1-0. At the 23-minute mark, senior Zoe Moore and sophomore Mimi Richards found rookie Gabrielle Garcia-Terrell for her first collegiate goal while giving Howard University a 2 - 0 lead at halftime. After the break, Longwood was aggressive, outshooting HU, 7-3, in the final 45 minutes of play. With less than 15 minutes remaining, Longwood scored twice and tied the contest to force a draw, 2-2. Sophomore goalie Trinity Knox finished the night with three saves in the stalemate.
