Aeziah Divine announced it is tough to have to announce that I will not be competing at Oulton Park in the R&G British Talent Cup.
Divine posted on social media, “We wanted to say a massive thanks to Mortimer Racing - Victoria House Academy for the opportunity to be a guest rider with them for the past three rounds and for helping to keep me in the class for the majority of the season.
BTC has been an incredible environment to learn and progress in while taking my first step up to the Moto3, helping me gain confidence racing at this level, and getting comfortable with many of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship circuits.
We’re working hard behind the scenes to pull together more resources to keep going at this level, which may mean we turn our attention to preparing for my 2025 season sooner than we originally planned.
It is a big short-term disappointment to not be out racing but we’re happy with my progress so far this year and we’ll take the positives from all that I’ve been able to do this season and will use all the insights gained to fight further up the field the next time back out.
In this sport, things can change from round to round, so we’ll see how the next few weeks pan out and take it from there.
Thank you to all of my sponsors who are so supportive and help me to continue this journey forward in the sport. It’s been such a valuable year and we will continue to build from here.”
