Bermuda FIFA Assistant Referee’s Stefan Maybury, and Clinton Hayward were in action in the 2024 Concacaf Caribbean Cup on Thursday at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
The pair were part of the officiating team of a Group A Division match between the Miscellaneous Police FC and Arnett Gardens, which Miscellaneous Police FC won 2 - 1.
Kimani Arbouine had an attempt for the visitors in the 10’ but was denied by the left post.
Kevon Woodley had a header towards goal in the 32’ but was denied off the crossbar.
Arbouine struck inside the box, from the right side of the box, but hit the outside of the right post in the 36th minute’ as the teams would remain deadlocked into halftime.
Joevin Jones opened the scoring in the 47th with a shot inside the penalty arc to pace the hosts in the lead.
Warner Brown equalized in the 49th with a right-footed shot towards the left corner of the net.
Ezekiel Kesar scored the match-winner in the 84th to pounce on a blocked attempt from Arnett Gardens goalkeeper Richard White.
