Andrew Armstrong and his University of Dayton Men's Soccer teammates traveled up the road to the state capital to take on No. 9/8 Western Michigan and picked up a hard-fought 1 - 1 tie.

In the 28th minute, Western Michigan took the initial lead with a goal from Braxton Arpachinda.
Freshman Armstrong cut the ball past the Western Michigan goalkeeper and drew the foul, earning a penalty kick. Graduate student Hjalti Sigurdsson then stepped then calmly drove the penalty home to even the score just before halftime.
