In the ROK Shifter Masters Heat 1 race, Barnes was ruled third after receiving a penalty, the penalty came when officials ruled Barnes passed under the yellow flag, but after review it was reveal, Barnes didn’t complete the pass, and however he was still penalized for making the attempt.
After 13 laps in the ROK Shifter Masters heat 2 race, Barnes crossed the line 2nd with a time of 10:27.598.
