Paul Rodrigues Jr., and Jordan Viera, made the Eckerd College Sailing Debuts, competing in the South Atlantic Conference of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) Top Nine Invite Regatta.
Both skippered a boat in the Regatta, helping Ecjerd College finish 4th overall.
Veira skippered the school’s A Class boat with Eloise Weiss, as his crew to a 7th place finish overall with 100 points, while Rodrigues, and his crew Avery Guck finished 12th with 142 points, in the B Class boat.
Out of the 13 races sailed, Veira finished 8 times in the top 10, while Rodrigues’ best finish was 5th in the fifth race.
