Koa Goodchild and her Howard University Women's Soccer teammates went down 4 – 0 to No. 4 ranked Virginia (UVA) who scored three times after intermission in Charlottesville, Va.
In their toughest challenge of the season, Howard University were unable to crack Virginia's backline. Virginia, took 33 shots, including 18 in the second half. Despite being under distress throughout the afternoon, reigning Northeast Conference Goalie of the Year sophomore Trinity Knox battled while racking up 11 saves. After taking a 1-0 halftime lead, thanks to a goal from Samar Guidry, Virginia kept the pressure on. Virginia's Ella Carter doubled the lead in the 55-minute, followed by another goal from Kiki Maki in the 73rd minute to make it 3 - 0. With less than five minutes left, Allie Ross added an insurance goal.
