Danni Watson and her Barton Women's Soccer teammates shut out Mars Hill, 2 - 0, on the road at the Ammons Family Athletic Center for their first win of the 2024 campaign.
Barton junior midfielder Iris Gissuradottir scored just 48 seconds into the contest after receiving a pass off a steal from senior midfielder Gianna Ferigne, who was credited with the assist.
Barton rounded out the scoring in the 83rd minute when junior midfielder Jenessa Gray found the back of the net after finishing off a long pass from the left side courtesy of senior defender Hannah Johnson.
