Andrew Armstrong and his University of Dayton Men's Soccer teammates opened up the Wolstein Classic at Ohio State with a big 3 - 1 victory over UNLV.
In the 41st minute Senior Ethan Sassine slotted home a pass from junior Joseph Melto Quiah for the opening goal. It was originally called offside, but after review, the goal counted.
In the first minute of the second half, UNLV tied the game up at 1-1 after a quick counterattack.
However in the 81st minute Sophomore Miles Bonham headed home the perfectly placed cross from fellow sophomore Cooper Lijewski for his first goal of the season.
One minute later Sophomore Martin Bakken clinched the win for Dayton with his first goal of the season off the assist by Melto Quiah.
