Jessica Lewis competed in her 4th Paralympic Games taking to the track for the T53 Women’s 100m in Paris.
Lewis clocked a time of 16.83 to finish 5th place, Samantha Kinghorn from Great Britain powered to her first Paralympic title in record time.
The 28-year-old won Gold in a time of 15.64, beating the previous Paralympic Record by 0.55 seconds in a lightning-fast final.
Kinghorn beat out Swiss great Catherine Debrunner and Fang Gao of China, with all three dipping below the previous Paralympic Record set by Lisha Huang eight years ago in Brazil.
