Kaden Hopkins and his Vendee U Cycling teammates were back in action in Stage Eight of the 73rd Tour Cycliste International de la Guadeloupe in France, the Pointe-à-Pitre > Baie-Mahault 153.6km Road Race, with over 2600 meters of climbing.
Hopkins finished 31st clocking a time of 3:52:24, he finished 19:52 behind the Stage Winner and teammate Sam Maisonobe who clocked 3:32:32.
Hopkins is now 28th overall in the Grand Championship clocking an overall time of 30:19:22, he is 59:11 behind the overall leader Kevin Miranda who has a combined time of 25:50:43.
Hopkins keeps the Green Jersey back as the rider with the Most Points of 105. Hopkins and his teammates are in third place with a combined time of 89:12:36.
