Bermuda Squash players continued competing in the Caribbean Area Squash Association Senior Championships, at Georgetown Club and the National Racquet Center in Guyana.
The tournament continued with the Team phase, Bermuda would face Jamaica in their Men’s Division final match of the tournament.
Bermuda would edge Jamaica 3 – 2. Bermuda went into the match knowing Jamaica only had four healthy players with Bermuda’s Brendon Fourie awarded a walk over win.
Taylor Carrick doubled Bermuda’s lead after he defeated Tahjia Lumley 11-4, 11-7, 11-6.
Jamaica made it 2 – 1 when Adam Ardito defeated Anaya Smith 14-12, 10-12, 4-11, 11-5, 11-7.
Jamaica then leveled the match at 2 – 2 when Dane Schwier defeated Kion Knights 11-5, 11-7, 11-9.
It would come down to the final match and Matthew Elliott gave Bermuda the win at 3 – 2 after he defeated Aaron Levy 11-5, 11-5, 11-13, 11-5.
