Nathan Trott and his FC Copenhagen teammates advanced to the net round of the UEFA Conference League following their Kicks from the Penalty Mark win over Banik Ostrava.
Going into the UEFA Conference League Third Qualifying Round Second Leg match Copenhagen, held a 1 – 0 advantage, however they went down 1 – 0 in the Second Leg to leave the aggregate score 1 - 1 and send the game into Extra Time.
Neither team would be able to find the back of the net in the extra 30 minutes thus sending the match into the penalty phase.
Banik missed four of their five penalties to hand Copenhagen the victory.
“It was a massive game and a massive win,” Trott told Copenhagen’s social media.
“I’m glad we could win the penalty shootout. It was a tough game.”
