The Leadville Trail 100 MTB was first held in 1994 and has since become one of the most challenging and prestigious mountain bike races in the world.
Riders including Tyler Butterfield took on a grueling 100-mile course that included about 12,000 feet of elevation gain, reaching a peak elevation of 12,600 feet above sea level at the summit of Columbine Mine.
Butterfield finished 105th overall clocking a time of 7:40.59. Butterfield was the 93rd Male Finisher out of 1,283 Males, and he was 15th in the 40 – 49 Age Group.
