The Under-23 Summer League play-offs got underway at the BAA Field with a doubleheader, which produced 7 goals.
FC Bascome 2 Somerset Trojans 2
The Somerset Trojans came from 2 – 0 down with 15 minutes to go to draw with FC Bascome 2 – 2 in the opener.
Riley Robinson gave FC Bascome the lead in the 42nd minute, they would take that lead to the break. Daniel Osset doubled the FC Bascom lead in the 53rd minute. The Somerset Trojans introduced Kynde Mallory into the match in the 74th minute, and five minutes late he pulled the Somerset Trojans within one.
Just when it would appear that FC Bascome would claim the victory Mallory equalized in stoppage time.
North Village Rams 2 Dandy Town Hornets 1
The North Village Rams edged the Dandy Town Hornets 2 – 1 in the nightcap, Jakeem Jennings gave the North Village Rams the lead in the 30th minute, and they would take that lead to the break.
In the 67th minute, the score was 1 – 1 when Diione Millett found the back of the net for the Dandy Town Hornets, Jennings would score what proved to be the winner in the 87th minute converting from the penalty spot.
