Pending any protests, they will be this year's Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Champions!
This boat was in a shed in Germany nearly five months ago, and now the crew has sailed into Class and Division Winners. It's also a back-to-back win for navigator Chris "Lew" Lewis in the Gibbs Hill Class.
Owner and skipper Andy Berdon attributed their victory to avoiding getting parked up that first night and getting outside of the fronts into the ocean breeze.
The crew includes Andy Berdon (Skipper), Richard Clarke, Lew Lewis, Stu Bannatyne, Gordon Kay, Mal Parker, Ben Bardwell, Josh Reisberg, David Swete, Alec Snyder (navigator), Brad Terpstra, Christopher Welch, David Gilmour, and Dylan Vogel.
