The West End Sailboat Club hosted the Comet Class with the Canutte and Myrtle Lambert Regatta.
Now that the biggest race of the year is over so is the interest to cover the class as you will note by other media coverage!
Gladwin Lambert and Stefan Maybury sailed Melody to victory on the day with 5 overall points. Lambert recorded a win, two second-place finishes, and a fourth, with sailors able to throw out a race, Lambert finished on the top of the table.
Maxwell Curtis and Wesley Tucker sailed Pole Position to second place with 6 points, this after 2 wins, a fourth and a fifth-place finish.
Zeniko Hendrickson and Zane Hendrickson sailed Radical into third position, frustrated with the Did Not Finish in the Edward Cross Long Distance race the Hendrickson’s had a point to prove with a second two-two-thirds and sixth place finish for their 8 points.
