The Americas Group III of the Davis Cup moved into Day Three of the tournament in Paraguay.
Bermuda is in Pool B which features five teams, alongside Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Guatemala.
A day after their Bye, Bermuda took on Guatemala edging them 2 – 1.
Trey Mallory would take to the court for the 1st Singles Match taking on Kaeri Hernandez Mariona.
Mallory would win the match in straight sets 6-0, 6-3, Mallory in the match that took one hour and two minutes to complete had 4 Aces, to go along with 1 Double Fault, Mallory got 32/45 of his First Serves in which was 71%. Mallory was 100% on Break Points going 4 for 4. Mallory would win 57 Total Points.
Daniel Phillips was next on the court and he would give Bermuda the win following his straights sets victory over Juan Sebastian Dominguez.
Phillips would defeat Dominguez 6-2, 6-2.
Guatemala took the lead when they won the Doubles match-up, Jack Keyes, and Tariq Simmons took on Gabrriel Porras, and Kent Tagashira.
Keyes and Simmons would fall in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
