The Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) takes this time to acknowledge the efforts of the BCB Under 19 National Training Squad, as they prepare for the ICC Under 19 World Cup Qualifiers, to be held in the Summer of 2025.
Their preparations include weekly training under the direction of Head Coach Janeiro Tucker and matches in the BCB First Division 50 Over League. To aid their development, the BCB Cricket Committee has approved the inclusion of Two Non-Under 19 playing members to provide their playing expertise during the weekly match fixtures. The overaged players have offered to act as mentors to the team.
Due to the Under 19’s having overaged players on their roster, the weekly match fixtures will be classed as a BCB Under 19 Developmental Match. The First Division Team that is scheduled to play against the BCB Under 19s will be awarded 10 points for a win, pending that they complete the match as per the official schedule.
The BCB takes this time to acknowledge the First Division teams, who provide much-needed competition and playing opportunities for all youth cricketers in Bermuda. We also wish to thank those overaged players who volunteer their time to develop the next generation of National Team players.”
