Bermuda Netball Summer League action resumed at Bernard’s Park with action in two Divisions.
Women’s Division
BPSU Ladies defeated the PHC Ladies 22 – 11, the BPSU Ladies got 19 goals from MVP Charlene Bogle, Donnisha Gardner added the other three goals, and the team’s Best Attacker was Stacey-Ann Brown, while the Best Defender was Demiqua Daniels. Best Attacker Inshanae Smith scored 5 goals for the PHC Ladies, Sonja Townsend added 4 goals, and Tyra Simmons scored twice, the team’s MVP and Best Defender was Debre Evans.
The Lady Stars defeated the St. George’s Ladies 23 – 15. The Lady Stars Best Attacker Julesa Robinson scored 12 goals, MVP Nahjae Rayner added 5 goals, while Sioma Rudo scored 4 goals, and Shawnette Perott scored twice, the team’s Best Defender was Monique White. The St. George’s Ladies got 11 goals from Best Attacker Nisaiah Berkeley, and Nicole Smith chipped in with 4 goals. Dezirae Darrell was named the team’s Best defender and MVP.
Co-Ed Division
The North Village Rams defeated the Front Street Mafia 22 – 6, Jordyn Morris would lead the North Village Rams to victory with 13 goals, Darrika Simons added 9 goals, the team’s Best Attacker was Shi Jennings, while Quinn Simmons was the Best Defender, and the MVP was Milan Butterfield. The Front Street Mafia got 3 goals apiece from Olivia Bugg, and MVP Alex Godet, the team’s Best Attacker was Caroline Callan, and the Best Defender was Jesse Marshall.
The Storm Chasers defeated the Goal Diggers 35 – 12, STORM Chasers MVP Antione Williams led them in scoring with 31 goals, Best Attacker Amali Powell added 2 goals, while Debre Evans and Kaamilah Nasir added a goal each. The Best Defender was Josh Hardtman. The Goal Diggers got 8 goals from Best Attacker Sydney Santos, with Jahmir Hatherley adding 4 goals, the team’s Best Defender was Lyndon Guissepi and the MVP was Kiante Lightbourne.
