A total of four matches took place at Bernard’s Park as the Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League continued.
Women’s Division
The BPSU Ladies defeated the Lady Stars 24 – 16.
BPSU Ladies were led to victory by Best Attacker Donnisha Gardner who scored 19 goals, Demiqua Daniels added the other 5 goals, the teams Best Defender was Tina Wall, and the MVP was Stacey-Ann Brown. The Lady Stars got 7 goals from Sioma Rudo, MVP Nahjae Rayner added 6 goals, Siyuanne Hall scored twice, and Shawnette Perott scored once, the Best Attacker was Keisha Eve, while their Best Defender was Monique White.
The St. George’s Ladies defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 20 – 17.
Nisaiah Berkeley led the St. George’s Ladies to victory with 10 goals, Druw Bascome added 8 goals, and MVP Amali Powell scored twice, the Best Attacker was Shawnae Brangman, while the Best Defender was Hailey Smith. The PHC Lady Zebras got 13 goals from Sonja Townsend, while Tyra Simmons added 4 goals, Terita Bean was named the teams MVP and Best Attacker, while the Best Defender was Sarafina Woolridge.
Co-Ed Division
The Storm Chasers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 26 – 24.
Nabiilah Nasir led the Storm Chasers with 13 goals, MVP Antione Williams added 8 goals, Best Defender Amali Powell, and Candace Paynter both scored two goals each. The Best Attacker was Tariq Bean. Jordyn Morris scored all 24 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, Quinn Simmons was named the teams MVP and Best Attacker, and the Best Defender was Milan Butterfield.
BPSU defeated the Goal Diggers 28 – 11.
BPSU Best Attacker Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 20 goals, while MVP Donnisha Gardner added 8 goals, the teams Best Defender was Peta-Gaye Scott. The Goal Diggers got 5 goals from Jahmir Hatherly, Best Defender Zhanae Simmons, and Best Attacker Lyndon Guiseppi both scored 3 goals each, with Jaman Lottimore named the teams MVP.
