Eight UMBC Women's Track and Field student-athletes including Caitlyn Bobb, and Za'Kayza Parsons qualified to compete in the finals of their events, marking the first day of the 2024 America Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at rainy UMBC Stadium.
Junior Bobb is primed to win the 400 meters after she turned in the top time in the Preliminary with an effort of 55.24, while junior Parsons will represent UMBC in the finals of the 100 meters on Sunday. Parsons finished 7th clocking a time of 12.23.
Keturah Bulford-Trott finished just outside the Qualifying spot during the Women’s 100 Meter Hurdles Preliminaries when she finished 9th clocking a time of 15.18.
