The Montreal World Boccia Cup continued with Para Olympian Yushae DeSilva-Andrade and Omar Hayward both in action.
In her second BC1 Female Pool B match DeSilva-Andrade went down to Yuriko Fujii from Japan 8 – 2.
Hayward edged Eduardo Sanchez from Mexico 3 – 2 in their BC1 Men's Pool C battle.
DeSilva-Andrade would later post o social media, “Unfortunately, I lost my game today 8 - 2 against Japan which means that with the point difference with today's game I have been knocked out of the competition.
It feels great to be back competing at this level and now to take this experience and ready myself for my next overseas competition in July.”
