Daniel Phillips and his Fourth seed and No. 23 Arizona State Men's Tennis teammates defeated fifth-seeded and No. 58-ranked California 4 - 1 in the First Round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
The team advances to face the winner of the Stanford/Washington at Libbey Park in Ojai, California.
Phillips only played in the Doubles, he teamed up with Nicola Cigna in the number 3 spot, they would fall 6-1 to Qian Sun, and Carl Emil Overbeck.
