The 2024 Comet racing season got underway in St. George’s Harbor with five boats going to the start line for the Alan Frith Memorial Regatta.
Alan Frith with his crew Sarah Frith sailed to victory in Orion on the day as they recorded three wins and a second-place finish on the day to finish with 3 points as sailors are allowed to drop a race.
Pole Position sailed by Maxwell Curtis and his crew Wesley Tucker finished second with 5 points, after winning the first race and then finishing second in the next two races, they did not sail the fourth race.
Quinton Simons and Gregory Proctor sailed Stir De Pot to a third-place finish with 9 points, after a second-place finish a third-place finish, and two fourth-place finishes.
