And finally, the final phase of the 2024 FEI Jumping World Challenge (FEI JWC) was held at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.
In Category “A” the 1.20 – 1.30 meter class, the Aon Trophy was awarded to 1st place winner Jaylynn Hines and her horse Toto D’ysenbeeck.
In Category “B” the 1.10 – 1.20 meter class the Nightmare Trophy was awarded to 1st place winner Tyler James riding Cruise Control. In the Category “C” the 1.00 – 1.10 meter class the Central Carolina Trophy was awarded to Abby Bardgett riding Up Up & Away.
Judging the final phase of the Challenge were FEI Level 2 Judge John Flisk of the USA and FEI Level 1 Judge Pamela Mahoney of Bermuda.
Bermuda equestrians must wait until January 2025 to receive the final and official standings in this year’s FEI JWC as competing countries have until December 31st by which to complete their events.
