Brandon Adkins is now the National Open and 17/18 Age Group Short Course Record Holder in the 200m Freestyle clocking 1.50.30, breaking Jesse Washington’s record time of 1:52.40 set back in March 2018. Adkins also holds the 17-18 Age Group Record in the 100m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 50.95, breaking Jesse Washington’s record of 51.27 during the Best of Best Age Group Championships in 2018.
Thomas Cechini broke three Boy’s 15-16 Age Group Short Course Records during the Championships.
Cechini broke the 800m Freestyle clocking a time of 8.37.35, breaking his own record time of 8:47.36 set during the BASA Short Course Championships in 2023, Cechini would then break Jesse Washington’s 200 Butterfly record time of 2:17.04 set back in 2016 during the Best of the Best #1 Meet and he was clocked at 2.10.94. Cechini would then beak the 200 Freestyle clocking a time of 1.53.68, breaking Washington’s time of 1:54.67 set back in 2016 during the Schroders Age Group Championships.
