The final round of the 2024 Super Karts USA Winter Series was completed on Sunday at the AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex presented by MG Tires.
In the Qualifying Round Barnes would clock the third fastest time of 52.725 which came on the 5th lap.
In the Pre-Final Master Shifter Class, Barnes was edged at the line by Joe Ruch, Ruch clocked a 7 lap time of 7:02.043, while Barnes clocked 7:02.678.
In the Masters Shifter Final, Barnes finished 6th with an 18-lap time of 16:16.707.
Barnes said, “Ahhhhh the Highs & lows of racing. Great day yesterday, not so much today. In finals with 6 laps to go and got taken out gotta love racing.
Overall good points weekend, thinking big picture it’s going to be a long Championship fight.
