Taylor White had a bad fall and broke her ankle back in October just before her first meet of the season for Bentley University, she had surgery in November, the cast came off in December, White was on crutches until mid-January and finally, she was out of the boot on Jan.23rd.
White did all the work, she was back in the pool as soon as she could be and pushed through all the pain and heartache in the hopes that she could back it back for her Championship Meet.
During the 2024 NE-10 Championship, White competed in the Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries, finishing 8th with a time of 5:24.74 advancing to the A Final. In the Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle, A final White finished 8th clocking as time of 5:23.62.
White would finish 13th in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke Preliminaries touching the wall in a time of 1:03.36, advancing to the B Final. In the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke B Final White touched the wall first clocking a time of 1:01.40.
White would qualify for the Women’s 200 Yard Backstroke A Final after finishing 7th in the Preliminaries with a time of 2:14.25, in the Women’s 200 Yard Backstroke A Final clocked the 7th fastest time of 2:13.25.
