2024 SKUSA Winter wrapped up with Scott Barnes completing a 3 Peat for the SKUSA FL Winter Series Shifter Master Championship.
Barnes said, “It wasn’t the turnout in Shifter Masters we wanted, so we had some fun racing with Pro Shifter.
Last weekend we started behind the 8ball with not practicing at all on Friday. We got faster each session Saturday & Sunday and ended the weekend 7th overall, only 2 tenths behind the top 5 times.
It was a pretty stacked Pro Field & being 15 years older than the next oldest driver, who’s a Pro Car Driver, doesn’t help lol.
We used this last weekend as a good practice for this weekend’s debut into the Rok Cup USA FL Winter Race.
The field for Shifter Masters this weekend looks good so looking forward to some tough racing.”
