After a thrilling and competitive start to the 2024 Superkarts season, the USA Winter Series returned to AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex presented by MG Tires but this time in much different weather conditions.
Scott Barnes and the other drivers had to deal with pouring rain and standing water all over the track, SKUSA officials moved to set the main events by time as opposed to laps.
Competing in the Master Shifter Qualifier, Barnes clocked a winning time of 47.113.
Barnes would also win the Master Shifter Pre-Final race clocking a 12-lap time of 9:23.780.
Taking to the wet track for the Master Shifter Final, Barnes clocked a 22-lap winning time of 17:29.750.
