As we reported yesterday, Dara Alizadeh qualified for the Tokyo Olympics following his performance in the World Rowing Americas Olympic Qualification Regatta in Brazil.
Alizadeh will join www.islandstats.com for his first Interview since qualifying.
Going into the Final, all but one Olympic Qualifying Spot for the Men’s Single Sculls were confirmed according to the Qualification rules for Continental Regattas, with Alizadeh, and Felix Damian Potoy of Nicaragua, both in the B Final.
Alizadeh would finish 3rd, and Potoy finished 4th, with Alizadeh advancing to Tokyo to represent Bermuda.
