Jonte Smith was on loan from Crawley Town playing for Met Police scored 5 times in their 7 – 1 FA Cup win.
Seven goals scored, incredibly five for star center forward Smith, one missed penalty and numerous chances missed by the Met added to an enthralling F.A cup tie at Beckenham Town FC.
The playing surface at Beckenham Town is one of the best in Non-League football, watered just before kickoff which allowed free flowing football from the off.
Smith gave the Police the lead in the 14th minute, Brian Hodges equalized for the host, Smith then put the visitors ahead 2-1 in the 35th minute. Ty Smith missed a first half penalty as the teams went to the break with Met Police leading 2-1.
Billy Crook finished well in the 50th minute and an own goal added to the Police lead, before Smith found the net again in the 75th minute to complete his hat-trick to make it 5 – 1. Smith’s fourth goal of the game came in the 84th minute he closed out the scoring four minutes later to earn the Police the big win.
