The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association held the first Best of the Best Series events at the BASA Pool.
In some tuff conditions the swimmers took to the poll, with Mitchell Gariepy breaking the Men’s 9 – 10 400 meter Short Course IM set by Giles Lorimer-Turner, Gariepy hit the tape in 6:17.80 beating the previous record by 54.37 seconds. Gariepy also broke the Men’s 9 – 10 200 meter Short Course Breaststroke record when he hit the tape in 3:24.37 beating the previous record of 3:25.90.
Emma Harvey broke the Girls 8 & Under 50 meter Short Course Butterfly record when she finished in a time of 46.08 beating the record by 1.31 seconds.
