The Bermuda Track & Field Association held their AGM at the Cathedral, Donna Watson was elected new President.
Watson speaking to www.islandstats.com following the election said, “The first order of business is the Carifta Games which is next week, but apart from that we are looking to have a Part Time administrator for the office to deal with correspondence and administrative issues on a daily basis”.
“We will be getting together with all the board members next week to iron out everyone duties so everyone understands their role”, continued Watson.
Watson went on to say, “The AGM was well attended as members from every club was in attendance, with the elections overseen by Bermuda Olympic Secretary General Philip Guishard“.
Watson concluded, “We will be looking to get Track & Field up to Par, the Road Running scene is doing well so there won’t be any shake ups, just a bit of fine tuning”.
