Reggie Lambe and his Ipswich Town Reserves teammates including a number of trialists defeated West Ham’s second string 1-0 in a friendly at Playford Road. Dan Harding scored the only goal of the game from the edge of the box in the 70th minute.
Ipswich again included former Fulham winger Lino Goncalves in their line-up, along with central midfielder Harry Arter from Charlton. Both previously featured in last week’s game against Northampton.
Ipswich Town also brought on 17-year-old Irish goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin for the second half. The Dubliner, currently with youth side St Francis, is set to join the club on a professional contract in the summer with current academy keeper Lewis Ward being released.
