Jaden Talbot helped Washington Academy Football defeat Stearns High School 28 – 20.
Talbot had 27 carries for 170 yards scoring 3 Touchdowns including the winner.
Washington Academy took the lead when Talbot went over for a 1 yard run, Finn Furth doubled the lead on a 52 yard run Touchdown.
Stearns High School would get on the scoreboard with a Bennett Dunstan pass to Elliot Shearer and then Dunstan scored on a 67 yard fumble recovery to make it 14 – 14.
Talbot would put Washington Academy back in front when he scored on a 7 yard touchdown run, but Andrew Daigle scored on a 2 yard run and with the extra point blocked Washington Academy held a 21-20 lead.
Talbot would close out the match when he scored on a 2 yard run to make the final score 28 – 0.
