Devwah Whaley and his Arkansas Men’s Football teammates fell to Colorado State on the road 34-27 after a late score gave them a seven-point advantage with eight seconds left in the fourth quarter.
A 14 play 73 yard drive was capped by a Devwah Whaley touchdown from three yards out that gave Arkansas a 7-3 lead late in the first quarter. Whaley, who recorded his second touchdown of the season, has scored a touchdown in eight-straight games dating back to the Auburn game last season.
Whaley had 26 rushes for 165 yards, Whaley rushed for 100+ yards for the first time since rushing 119 against New Mexico State last season.
Whaley recorded his fourth career 100-yard rushing game and he has set a career-high in total rushing yards.
Whaley is the first Arkansas player to run for 150+ yards and 25+ attempts since Rawleigh Williams III ran for 205 at Mississippi State in 2016 and he set a season-high rushing attempts.
