The Kansas City Chiefs have worked out unconventional players in the past such as rugby players. They’ve gone after the track athletes too and we have another one of those fast dudes that the Chiefs are looking at. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Chiefs worked out Olympic sprinter Tre Houston on Friday.
Houston said via social media, “These past 6 weeks have been nothing but learning new things..... something I've never even thought about playing is now happening..... all my hard work left me with trying out for KC Chiefs yes the NFL..... Gods doing some amazing things for me.”
Houston concluded, “I didn't make the cut. But I'm willing to learn and make it happen. What an experience I had today. The journey continues.”
