The Bermuda Volleyball Association’s Junior National teams have struggled on Day One of the Florida Holiday Challenge.
The Big Wave Riders Under 18 team went down in their opener 25-8, 25-8 to 352 Elite Boys Rox 17 Lime, they would then fall to Ocean Bay 18 Wave 25-5, 25-11, before closing out with a 27-25, 25-18 loss to Venetian Bay 18.
The Paradise Hitters Under 18 team fell 25-19, 22-25, 15-11 to BVA 18 Black Alain, they would fall to JJVA 18N JR 25-4, 25-4 and then they went down to Top Select 18 Top 25-8, 25-9.
The Paradise Hitters Under 16 team ended the day with a win and two defeats, in their opener the Paradise Hitters went down 22-25, 25-14, 15-13 to the OVA 16 Blue. The Paradise Hitters Under 16 team then went down to DME Adidas Elite Under 16 team 25-16, 25-9, the Paradise Hitters Under 16 team would then pick up a win over BVA 16 Black Morgan 20-25, 25-17, 15-8.
The Paradise Hitters Under 15 team unfortunately did not pick up a win as they were defeated 25-10, 25-16 by Vision 15 Under Armour Black, they then went down to Top Select 15-Top 25-9, 25-18. The Paradise Hitters Under 16 team would then go down to BVA 15 Black Pro 25-10, 25-19.
